Das "Goliath Dreirad GD 750"
Bereits im Jahre 1949 erschien der erste Dreirad-Lieferwagen nach dem Krieg. Der GD 750 war eine Weiterentwicklung des FW200/400, der vor dem Krieg fast nicht mehr produziert werden konnte. Das dieses Dreirad noch Jahrzehnte nach dem Konkurs der Firma für den Namen "Goliath" steht, und sehr bekannt ist, konnte man damals nicht ahnen.
Fast jeder kleine Handwerksbetrieb hatte damals so ein Dreirad-Lieferwagen, da es mit fast 30 verschiedenen Aufbauten geliefert wurde.
Es wurde wahlweise angetrieben durch einen wassergekühlten 2-Zylinder 2-Takt-Motor mit 396 ccm und 14 PS oder durch einen 2-Zylinder 2-Takt-Motor mit 465 ccm (GM500) und 15 PS.
Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit betrug 55 und 60 km/h.

Die Kaufpreise lagen zwischen 3600 und 4400 DM, je nach Ausführung. 1955 wurde der GD 750 durch seinen Nachfolger GOLI abgelöst.
